He is also the co-author of the New York Times bestseller 12: The Elements of Great Managing, an exploration of the 12 crucial elements for creating and harnessing employee engagement. Dr. Harter’s book, the New York Times and Wall Street Journal bestseller, Wellbeing: The Five Essential Elements, is based on a global study of what differentiates people who are thriving from those who are not. His research is featured in First, Break All the Rules, and he contributed the foreword to Gallup’s updated edition of this ground breaking bestseller.

Kathy works with multinational and US companies across industry sector who are focused on their people, supply chain workers and health and safety. By leveraging a risk based approach to workplace safety and health, her client companies experience operational and health/safety excellence along with sustainable, resilient corporate performance. As the former Chair of the Center for Safety and Health Sustainability, Kathy has been working to connect the dots for business on sustainability, ESG and human capital and workplace safety and health since 2010.

Dr Sarah Cumbers
Director of Evidence and Insight @Lloyd’s Register Foundation
Sarah joined Lloyd’s Register Foundation in autumn 2019 as the founding Director of Evidence and Insight. Her team works to use data and evidence to help better understand the complex factors that affect safety. This includes driving improvements in the availability, quality and accessibility of data, synthesis of evidence, and implementation of evidence into practice to improve safety outcomes.

James Pomeroy

James is the Group HSES Director for Lloyd’s Register, a global technical and business services organisation. James is responsible for advocating and delivering high standards, thought leadership and best practice in health, safety, environmental and security management across LR’s global operations. With 25 years of experience, James has extensive experience in designing and implementing successful behaviour change within organisations and embracing a positive approach. He has considerable experience in enhancing human performance and safety culture through behavioural intervention.
