Out of Sight, Out of Mind?

With nearly half of all employees in western Europe spending at least some time working away from a main office or location, research was conducted into the safety and health implications of this.

It found that line managers who supervise remote or distributed workers should work closely with occupational safety and health practitioners to control the risks they face.

The research was conducted by a team from the University of East Anglia, Kingston University London and Affinity Health at Work.

Here, lead researcher, Professor Karina Nielsen, talks about how the research was conducted and some of the findings.
