Nominations are now open for the NEBOSH-sponsored ‘40 under 40’ celebrations which will mark Health and Safety at Work magazine’s 40th anniversary.

It will celebrate forty of the most innovative, influential and creative practitioners from health and safety’s younger generation. Open to professionals under the age of 40 on 31 December 2018, they will recognise people who’ve shown excellence in the profession.

Elaine Knutt, Editor of Health and Safety at Work, said: “We’re delighted to have NEBOSH as official sponsor of our ‘40 under 40’ celebration. NEBOSH and Health and Safety at Work have been side by side over the past four decades in advancing the latest thinking and ideas on health and safety, so we’re thrilled to be working together to find the best of the rising generation.

“Health and safety is always evolving – that’s what we write about, and what NEBOSH responds to in its courses. Putting ‘40 under 40’ under the spotlight is another way of showcasing the new trends, ideas and initiatives that are set to influence health and safety in the coming decades.”

Tania Barker, NEBOSH Head of Relationship Management and ’40 under 40’ judge added: “NEBOSH is thrilled to sponsor the ’40 under 40’ campaign. I’m looking forward to celebrating the achievements of health and safety’s younger generation. The winners will have demonstrated the very highest standards and it’s my hope that they will inspire others to deliver excellence and best practice in their own workplaces.”
