The International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM) and Abu Dhabi Vocational Education and Training Institute (ADVETI) are delighted to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
ADVETI kindly hosted IIRSM’s two Managing Risk pilot courses in Abu Dhabi. Both courses had high attendance, including many regulatory and government representatives.
Under the MoU, the two bodies will maintain a sustainable partnership focusing on the areas of risk management and occupational safety and health education and training.
The signing took place on 11 September 2017 at ADVETI’s Mussafah campus in Abu Dhabi and was attended by ADVETI’s Managing Director, Dr. Abdulrahman Alhammadi, IIRSM’s Director of Professional Development, Sophie Williams and ADVETI’s Curriculum Development Specialist, Siobhan Connolly.
Dr. Alhammadi said: We are very excited and pleased to enter into this partnership with IIRSM. This partnership will enable us to raise the awareness of the importance of risk management in the UAE.
By providing practical education and training, we will be able to focus on the areas of risk management and occupational safety for the benefit of the government and businesses.
Phillip Pearson, IIRSM Chief Executive, said: I am delighted with our strategic partnership and look forward to closely working together to raise awareness of the importance of risk management through practical education and training over the coming months and years in the UAE.
