The under-construction Bulgari Resorts and Residences Dubai has exceeded 30-million safe work hours with no lost time to injuries (LTIs), according to a statement from Faithful+Gould. The international project and programme management consultancy is working to ensure that the project is delivered on schedule, while adhering to the developer’s quality and safety requirements.
Commissioned by developer Meraas, the 1.7-million sqft master development is situated on the man-made Jumeira Bay island. The development will host 101 hotel rooms, 20 villas with private pools, 168 serviced one- to three-bed apartments, eight penthouses and 15 mansions.
Faithful+Gould says the safety achievement is an indication of Meraas’ commitment to safety throughout the lifecycle of the project – from inception and construction to commercial operations.
“Safety underpins Faithful+Gould’s core values, and we are firmly committed to maintaining a safe environment on each of our projects and in all our offices,” said Paul Doherty, Faithful+Gould’s UAE country director. “Reaching this significant milestone during a fast track delivery programme demonstrates the high level of performance and commitment of all stakeholders, and this is evidenced through this achievement, and all the efforts to maintain the integrity of the work environment, while also meeting international standards for quality, health, safety, environment, and security at the worksites.”
