Alba Wins Gold Health and Safety Award

Award presented to them by RoSPA at 2017 award ceremony

Bahrain-based international aluminium smelter, Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C. (Alba) was presented with the Gold Award for Occupational Health and Safety 2017 by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA), UK during a ceremony at the ExCeL, London on June 20, 2017.

The Award was received on behalf of Alba by the Senior Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) Manager Moh’d. Khalil, Senior SHE Coordinator Jassim Moh’d. Zainal and SHE Coordinator Ahmed A.Jalil Al Sayyad.

Commenting on winning the 2017 Gold RoSPA Occupational Health and Safety Award, Alba’s Chief Executive Officer, Tim Murray said:

“Alba values safety as an integral component of its operations. I thank our employees for their contribution towards not only fulfilling the organisational goals but also doing more than necessary to achieve higher safety performance in line with Alba's Safety Tomorrowland objective.”
