The American Society of Safety Engineer (ASSE) is an independent and non-profit professional organization. It consists of over 32,000 professional members. The ASSE mission is to foster the technical, scientific, managerial and ethical knowledge, skills and competency of SH&E professionals for the protection of people, property, and the environment.
The Middle East Chapter (ASSE-MEC) was established in 1982 and has held several conferences and technical meetings in the Gulf region. These conferences and meetings have attracted many international speakers, a variety of exhibitors and large number of attendees. The broad range of subjects addressed, the sharing and dissemination of knowledge, and the resulting discussions made these conferences a recognized success. These successes have encouraged ASSE-MEC to organize this conference, on February 18-22, 2012, in the Kingdom of Bahrain, with the theme “Your Safety is our Business Your Future is our Mission”.

OGWA 2012

OGWA 2012 Exhibition and Conference is a gathering of local and international oil and gas companies from the GCC, technology and service providers, equipment suppliers, and other companies directly serving the industry’s requirements. It is a forum for discussing the latest developments and directions of the industry, as well as a platform for trade and business opportunities among the oil and gas companies and international oil and gas firms.

OGWA 2012 is a three-day event that is held every two years. It was launched in 1998 and is now on its 8th edition. Since its launch, it has been receiving support from the Ministry of Oil & Gas, Petroleum Development Oman (PDO), Oman LNG, and other leading local companies.

It highlights the health and medical sector as a growing market in the Sultanate and in the region.

OGWA 2012 is one of the largest and most important oil and gas events in the Middle East region.

Adipec 2012
